I have now installed UserPoints 5.0.24 and tested the Profile View rule again, especially because I noticed this entry in the changelog:
“Changed the key reference to allow multiple uses of points for profile being viewed.”
Unfortunately, profile views still do not award any points on my site.
For the test I completely disabled my existing Community Builder Auto Action for profile views, so there should be no interference between the two systems.
I then enabled the UserPoints Profile View rule with the following settings:
Rule key: sysplgup_profile_view
Points: 2
Published: Yes
Automatically approved: Yes
Show activity: Yes
Method: Whenever (Standard)
For the actual test I logged in with two different test users, one on desktop and one on a mobile device. I visited each user's Community Builder profile from the other account.
No points were awarded in either direction and no corresponding UserPoints activity was created.
As a comparison, when I disable the UserPoints Profile View rule and enable my existing Community Builder Auto Action again, profile views are detected and the points are awarded immediately.
So it looks as though the Community Builder profile view itself is not reaching or triggering sysplgup_profile_view. The key reference change in 5.0.24 does not appear to solve this particular issue with Community Builder profiles.
The other CB UserPoints integration rules we tested previously, such as profile cover upload, connection request and connection accepted, are working correctly.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can test or any log/debug information that would help identify why the Profile View rule is not being triggered.
