full text search - 2005/07/21 17:22 Hi. From your other forum.

There you wrote:
There will be a nice search bot available for Remository 3.20. That version is currently available for beta testing by request, and will be moving into a more general beta quite soon.

That will bring a solution to be able searching
for example Office 2000 AND 2000 OFFICE in the
file name and file description.

When and where can I get this Search Bot? Does someone here know that?

Kind regards Sven

Re:full text search - 2005/07/21 21:47 7 files now. But I have also empty categories and folders. All files are linked and aren't in the download folder!

The data move tool of older version than 3.20 wasn't succesfull. The files I had to "mount" again. The categories and folders I was successful to import.

As I said I can search in contact, faq, etc but not in file repository.

To be continued...

Re:full text search - 2005/07/22 04:57 I'm puzzled by that. As you can see, it is working fine here and at Black Sheep Research (and also other test sites).

There are some slight peculiarities with the MySQL word search. It will not work at all with less than three rows to select from. It also rejects any word that appears in more than 50% of entries as being too common to be useful for searching. But that should not prevent all searches if you have seven files.

What happened with the upgrade? Did Remository list the files as not found, or what?

If you would like more help, would you let me have access to your site?
