upload page error - 2008/06/28 19:04 Hi

I have a problem with the upload page on the front end. It seems to have lost instructions on how wide it should be, and goes off the template page to the right to fill the screen, pulling some of the text entry boxes out of position as well.

Re:upload page error - 2008/06/30 18:04 I'm just not sure how that problem can be tackled. It is nearly always a problem with the space taken up by the editor. Unfortunately, editors are not consistent in how they interpret the size parameters passed to them (or even whether they interpret them at all). It's also difficult to judge what is a suitable size in pixels, as layouts vary a great deal. It can always be fixed as a one off custom job, but a general solution does not seem easy.

Any suggestions?

Re:upload page error - 2008/07/01 15:15 First, thank you for such a prompt reply, and also a great extension.
Strangely, the page error seems to have disappeared, although I havent checked in Vista, but its ok in XP currently.
There is one other problem, which is that I can't get any intro text or images to show up on the first page. I have gone through the config stuff and saved it, but no joy so far.
I have also noticed that with some templates, thumbnails are positioned to the right of the file details. I imagine this is a CSS issue. Is it something i can control regardless of the template used?
Thanks in anticipation.

Re:upload page error - 2008/07/02 20:26 On the intro, I'm wondering if you've been caught by a recent change in Remository. By popular request, if there is only a single top level container, Remository goes straight into it, so you would not see the intro. Just a guess - see http://j15.joomlaguru.net for a demo that the intro works!

It's very difficult to be consistent with every template, especially as standards are changing with the move to semantic markup.
