havin almost the same problem. Want to stop the Submitter, the Submitted-Date, optionally the File Date and the number of downloads from being displayed. I am using ReMOSitory 3.44.1.

I can find three settings for all of them in "Customise" . But when I disable them all nevertheless the Submitter and Submitted-Date are displayed on the two downloadpages for a single file (com_remository&Itemid=**&func=fileinfo&id=**). On the listing of alle files of a container it works fine. Is there a solution?

Re:Removing submitted by from Download - 2009/01/28 16:26 I'm not sure whether you're still interested, but I had the same requirement. I am using 3.46. I found in "remositoryFileInfoHTML.php" file in the "v-classes" folder, a few lines which covered the display of the various parameters. Look around line 253. I simply commented out the display submitter code line and it appears to work for me.

My coding is crap

$submitter = new remositoryUser($file>submittedby,null);

How do I comment out the use and not cause this section to crash?

Re:Removing submitted by from Download - 2009/02/06 18:34 The customization provided in 3.46 specifically covers the list of files (in various contexts). It does not cover the file information page, which also appears during a download.

Customization of the file details page will be covered in the next full release. It is also not too difficult to modify the code.
