RSS do not show under FF - 2008/03/22 15:31 Hi, Martin and all the remos's users !

First thank you for keeping the remos on J1.5, really good job.

So my issue is that one with the RSS:

"Ce fichier XML ne semble pas avoir d'information de style lui étant associé. L'arbre du document est montré ci-dessous."

It's in french, so it tell that ther's a lack of information for the rendering of the XML file ther's no tree.

Under FF 2.0.0.12

I got the raw XML on the screen, that's all.

Any idea ?
Thanks

Re:RSS do not show under FF - 2008/03/23 17:37 Not sure what you wanted? The RSS feed is suitable for use with something like the newsfeed component or anything of that kind. It is not intended for browser display. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:RSS do not show under FF - 2008/03/23 17:49 Hi, thanks for the answer.

Ok, but the feed is properly render under IE7, and not under FF2.0.12 ??

My joomla1.5 feed work well on both, so why the Remository feed doesn't work on FF2.0.12 only ?

Re:RSS do not show under FF - 2008/03/23 20:54 Hard to say. The Joomla feed is Atom, whereas Remository is RSS 2.0. Also, the behaviour is different depending on whether you click on the icon on the page or the one in the browser URI box.

I'll look at it some more when time permits.

Re:RSS do not show under FF - 2008/03/24 21:10 Thank you

Some tests I've made :

The Remos's RSS work well under IE7 (Parsing and links ok)

Live feed work on FF (Parsing ok but NO active links just titles of th files in black)

The RSS link inside Remos No parsing of the XML so no rendering, just the source.

And I must say that J1.5 got the RSS2.0 and Atom1.0 we can select the RSS by the mod_syndication.

Waiting for some news from you, thanks again

Re:RSS do not show under FF - 2009/01/12 20:48 This one is SOLVED !

Just read this topic: http://www.remository.com/forum/func,view/id,11199/catid,15/

Or just do that:

Thanks for pointing that out, it seems that the SEF processing is different in Joomla 1.5 relative to 1.0. I don't know why. You can fix the problem by modifying remository.interface.php around line 505, changing the SEF function to:
Code:

      function sefRelToAbs ($link) {         if (defined('_JOOMLA_15PLUS')) return $this->getCfg('live_site').JRoute::_($link);         else return sefRelToAbs($link);     }
