alignment problem - 2008/03/05 23:36 Hey guys, I have searched the forums and FAQ section but couldn't find an answer to my problem.

I am using J!1.5 and Remository 3.43.

On my site there is a huge gap b/w the header and the file details. I looked thru the css file and changed:

remository.css
line:65 from:
Code:

 #remositoryfilelisting h3 {     float:        left;     clear:        both     width:        98%;     border-top2px solid #999;     padding:    5px 0 0 5px

to:
Code:

 #remositoryfilelisting h3 {     float:        left;     /**clear:        both; **/     width:        98%;     border-top2px solid #999;     padding:    5px 0 0 5px;

and this brought the file title up to the top of the page but did not bring the rest of the listings.

My question is how do i bring the rest of the listings up with to the top of the page?

Link to page where problem exists

any help is much appreciated!!

Re:alignment problem - 2008/03/06 15:53 I am still in search of an answer to my problem but I believe I have narrowed the error down to the template css file.

I am using rt_novus_j15 and that is where the alignment is off, when viewing in FF.

When I switch to the default template, or any other template I have installed, there is NO alignment issue.

So to revise my orginal question... Does anyone know what I would need to change in the template css to get the alignment issue fixed? Or around what line/class/id I should look for the problem on?

Again, thanks for the help!

Re:alignment problem - 2008/03/12 09:10 A problem of this kind is normally an interaction between the template CSS and the Remository CSS.

I'm a bit puzzled in this case. Did you make further changes? There is no problem on your site right now, but I see that it uses the modified CSS. But downloading the page and changing the Remository CSS back to its original does not show a problem either. Not sure what I am looking for?

Could you give more background? Or some suggestion about how the problem can be reproduced?
