Joomla 1.5 and Remository

Re:rss - 2008/03/11 23:22 Problem is Joomla 1.5 is not returning anything for getCfg('cachepath') so the temporary file is placed in the root (or it attempts to do so).

Actually works on my Windows laptop because there are no unix style file permissions. Need to figure out what is the revised way to get at the cache path.

For a quick fix, I suggest altering c-classes/remository_rss_Controller.php. Almost at the end, you should find a line that says:

 $filename = $interface->getCfg('cachepath')."/remository.$rtype.$rsstype.xml";

Change it to:

$filename = JPATH_CACHE."/remository.$rtype.$rsstype.xml";

That should make it work!
