Glossary2.0.2 display problem - 2007/06/25 11:02
Hi folks
I have small problem with Glossary2.0.2 components
I have successfully installed that component in my site admin panel
I have downloaded that from http://www.remository.com/rem/Remository/Download/Mambo-Software/Glossary/Glossary-2.02/
Than, I go to my Site admin panel logged in and went installation tab on the top
Installation > Component and uploaded the ZIP file of Glossary2.0.2,
Now I can see that component in component section with the name Glossary
Once I clicked on that Glossary tab I can find following things
1. View Items
2. Categories
3. Edit config
4. About Glossary
Now if I want to show Glossary on my site, I need to configure
Following is the detail of Backend Tab configuration
Select UTF-8: = YES
Show the alphabet: = YES
Strip accents: = NO
Autos publish entries: = YES
Notify webmaster: YES
Webmaster's email: info@mydomain.com
Thank user: Yes
Following is the detail of Frontend Tab configuration
Select UTF-8: = YES
Default category: = Glossary
Entries per Page: = 500
Allow Entries: = YES
Anonymous Entries: = NO
Show Author: = YES
Use default Editor: = YES
simple textarea: = YES
Show Categories: = YES
Show Category Desciptions: = YES
Begin with: = Show All Entries
Show number of entries: = YES
Than I went to view items columns where I have added few terms and description related with my site
Next I linked that category to one of my mainmenu of the site and I open my site in new browser clicked on that link and found message “your are not authorized to view this pageâ€
So I am wondering what I have done wrong in above procedure to activate Glossary2.0.2 component for my site
Can any body help me with proper steps or probably with video tutorial?
