Scheduled download ? - 2007/03/15 14:40 Think about such a circumstance:

You are the Admin of one website, you want to upload something but do not want them published and seen by the frontend visitors.

At present, Remository can choose Don't Publish when uploading. But I mean I want to upload it and give a scheduled time to let Remository publish this downloading automatically. Of course I have the option to set the time of uploading which will be shown at frontend when published.

Re:Scheduled download ? - 2007/03/16 03:36 This idea was evoked by the com_content of Joomla which can publish an article by scheduled time.

I also think this is very interesting. For example maybe sometimes you want to start an item for downloading at midnight but don't want to give up sleep. Or if you have a vacation plan but still hope to publish one item for downloading each day to attract visitors. You can use this schedule at these circumstances.

It's beyond my ability to hack or add some code. I can't afford to such a new feature either. So I hope someone with high technique has the same interest and can do it sometime.
