Glossary 2.0 Beta - 2006/08/05 22:28 Thanks for this Beta release. Now entries can be edited and FORMATTED from the admnin end.

What still remains to be done is to offer the same funcionality to the authors in the frontend. All HTML is still removed from the entries posted in the frontend.

If the glossary has to be used at Cyrillic sites, there are two more letters to be added to the var $accented - Ч and Ю.

Re:Glossary 2.0 Beta - 2006/08/06 15:07 Thanks for your comments. Based on experience with Remository, I have misgivings about providing editor access on the user side. In fact, I'm really not sure what processing of text areas will give the most user friendly effect.

All non-accented equiv. for the diacritics are lsited and properly sorted here

For a number of reasons it is more convenient to edit the glossary entries from the user-side rather than from the admin. In both cases, why give the registered members a phony chance to use a visual editor which will eventually not behave as visual editor? As a result - crisis of expectations and trust, so they will never submit for a second time.

P.S. Please advise how to change one's password at remository.com - or possibly provide a link to member's profile?
