Very simple upload - 2005/12/22 17:41 Hello, I 'm a newbie to Joomla and Remository.

I have installed Remository and is running fine, my question is that I don 't need so much info for file uploadings, the user should only select the file and upload without any description, icons, etc. Is this configurable anywhere ?

Thanks in advance.

Re:Very simple upload - 2005/12/23 16:25 It is fairly easy to change the code. All the display stuff on the user side is in remository.html.php (in /components/com_remository). Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:Very simple upload - 2005/12/27 03:58 I am wanting also to strip down the upload page to a very simple interface, and was unable to find where to remove the fields I do not need, as well as the verbiage preceding specific fields. Can anyone offer any more detail on how to make these changes?

Re:Very simple upload - 2009/08/30 08:15 I am also trying to achieve a simple upload form but being new to php it is a bit tricky to work out what to remove without breaking something.

All I want is the browse button and text box displayed for multiple file uploads so I attempted to modify the remositoryAddManyFilesHTML.php file in /components/com_remository/v-classes directory. But I couldn't work out what to remove.

The form works exactly how I want so I do not need to change any fuctionality just hide all the fields apart from the browse button , text box and submit button.

Has anyone managed to achieve this or something similar?

Thanks

Re:Very simple upload - 2009/08/30 19:36 in remositoryAddManyFilesHTML.php comment out or delete
for no licence
Code:

 $this->fileInputArea(_DOWN_LICENSE_DOWN_DESC_MAX'license'''450false); echo $this->simpleTickBox(_DOWN_LICENSE_AGREE'licenseagree');

for no filehomepage
Code:

 $this->fileInputBox(_DOWN_FILE_HOMEPAGE,'filehomepage','',50);

for no icons
Code:

 $this->displayIcons(null$iconList);

for no file version
Code:

 this->fileInputBox(_DOWN_FILE_VER,'fileversion','',25);

in addition you might want to go to config - customize and uncheck the checkboxes of those details you do not want to be displayed
