Multi-Glossary problem - 2011/04/27 02:08 Dear all.

I've build my site with Glossary 27. Since there is possibilities to create more than one glossary, I made some sub-glossary to represent dialects in my local language. The problem is when I entry new term in a sub-glossary that 'the term' was existed in other sub-glossary, the new term won't be saved.

I think Glossary uses same table in database to store any terms from all glossaries.

Are there any clues to create same terms in different sub-glossary? Because there are some many same terms with different definition between sub-glossary.

Re:Multi-Glossary problem - 2011/05/20 17:39 It needs a number of changes if Glossary is to handle that situation.

At present, the terms are all stored in a single table. They need to be unique so that the popup mechanism can work by looking up terms that appear in articles.

There would have to be changes to the way the tables worked, and also changes so that the plugin that generates the popups could figure out which glossary to use when the same term appears in more than one. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint
