When uploading larger files it takes quite a while so users worry if it has crashed and get impatient, could this be added? if so how?

It will require the integration of a flash uploader into Remository. It's something that is planned, but I can't give timescales yet.

is there any news on this? or anyone know how i could add a flash uploader?

normal uploader is proving a big problem for larger files. users either think its crashed or the upload times out
