{jform} plugin - 2010/08/09 13:05 Hi,

I have remository working fine on my site.
I also have jform workiing fine on my site.

My problem is this:-
I need users to fill out a jform form so I can store some users details before I let them download a specific file on remository.
If I type in {jform = 1} as I would do into the textarea in an article into the description textarea on remository it just print out {jform = 1} to the user.

How to I get it to parse this plugin?

Thanks

Re:{jform} plugin - 2010/08/10 00:30 Look in the file ../components/com_remository/com_remository_constants.php for the code:

Code:

  // Define whether descriptions should be processed by content plugins DEFINE(' _REMOSITORY_CONTENT_PLUGINS', 0);

and change the 0 near the end to a 1.

That should cause content plugins to be triggered.

Re:{jform} plugin - 2010/08/10 08:32 This line wasn't in com_remository_constants.php
so I added it and set it to 1.

// Define whether descriptions should be processed by content plugins
DEFINE('_REMOSITORY_CONTENT_PLUGINS', 1);

It is still unable to parse the jform.

The remository page reads:-

Description:
{jform = 1}
File Size:
152,780.50 Kb
File Date:
28 Jun 2010

Re:{jform} plugin - 2010/08/11 21:48 If it is not there, you do not have the latest Remository. You need to upgrade. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:{jform} plugin - 2010/09/06 09:57 I have installed the latest version of remository and set the below line to 1
DEFINE('_REMOSITORY_CONTENT_PLUGINS', 1);

I am now getting this error:-
Fatal error: Call to undefined method remositoryInterface::triggerPlugins() in C:xampphtdocsjoomlacomponentscom_remositoryv-classesremositoryFileInfoHTML.php on line 275.

it disappears if I set the line below back to 0.

DEFINE('_REMOSITORY_CONTENT_PLUGINS', 0);

Re:{jform} plugin - 2010/10/22 11:46 I have just find this post after reading almost the whole forum. I posted this in another thread

I'm using Remository 3.53.8 and I still get problems.

After having changed DEFINE('_REMOSITORY_CONTENT_PLUGINS', 1), now I get this kind of errors (and no expected output obviously):

Warning: Parameter 2 to Pre15x_PluginGoogleMap2() expected to be a reference, value given in C:..JoomlaBinarisxampphtdocsJoomlalibrariesjoomlaeventdispatcher.php on line 136

Warning: Parameter 2 to plgContentEmailCloak() expected to be a reference, value given in C:..JoomlaBinarisxampphtdocsJoomlalibrariesjoomlaeventdispatcher.php on line 136

Warning: Parameter 2 to plgContentLoadModule() expected to be a reference, value given in C:..JoomlaBinarisxampphtdocsJoomlalibrariesjoomlaeventdispatcher.php on line 136

Warning: Parameter 2 to plgContentPagebreak() expected to be a reference, value given in C:..JoomlaBinarisxampphtdocsJoomlalibrariesjoomlaeventdispatcher.php on line 136

The plugins work ok when using articles, for example

The plugin code is triggered like this

{mosmap param1|param2|...}

Update:
Tried a new setup on a new PC and from a home internet connection. IT WORKS !!! Yes, out of the box, without any change in com_remository_constants.php. I have no explanation for this...

Re:{jform} plugin - 2010/10/26 16:27 The difference is likely to be the result of different levels of error reporting. On one system you have warnings being reported, on the other you do not.

The warnings are not coming from Remository code, I'm not sure they are under my control.
