So far as I know, the integration with AEC relates to placing a TOTAL constraint on the number of downloads during the period a plan is active. Remository will allow downloads so long as the number remains positive, and will reduce it by one for each download. When the number is exhausted, Remository will refuse downloads.
This is not an integration with the number of downloads PER DAY.
Restricting numbers of downloads is difficult, because you need to take account of problems such as the fact that IE is inclined to download every file twice.
There is fuller logic within Remository for managing the sale of individual files, where the user is permitted to download a purchased file as often as they like for a limited period after the purchase. To adopt this approach with AEC would require a more complex integration.
