HTML source code in file description field - 2005/12/10 02:16 Hi there,

I'm trying to put a hyperlink code in the HTML source code description field of a Remository 3.40b file. (HREF = "URL"). The code is saved correctly. However, when browsing to the container of the corresponding file (through both IE and Firefox), the hyperlink in the auto generated short description field is shown as plain text.

I have the same kind of issue when embedding a Flash object in the description field. Again, the HTML source code is saved correctly, but no flash object is visible through the web browser in the auto generated short description field.

I guess this problem is related to the 'auto generate short description' feature in Remository 3.40b?

Re:HTML source code in file description field - 2005/12/10 17:01 I see. I made this remark, because in version 3.22 HTML HREF codes were accepted in the short description field.

From functional point of view, the short description field would be the perfect place to hyperlink to preview (media) content files in general, before registering and downloading the real stuff ..

Maybe there are alternative ways to achieve this?
