File Not Found - 2009/11/12 17:39 Hello,

this is my problem with Joomla 1.0.15: Any File in Remository is not found by downloading. I do the upgrade from 3.44.1 to the newest version. The same problem.

In the past, it worked. Maybe, the problem is the migration to another server. First, I searched the problem by sh404SEF. But I disabled it for Remository and the problem stays.

I've seen, that all files are missing under Remository Missing Files. At phpMyAdmin, there was a problem:
at table jos_downloads_files > filepath there's the old path, not the new. I does the following:

UPDATE jos_downloads_files
SET `filepath` = REPLACE(`filepath`, '/www/htdocs/reikilan/joomla/download/downloads//','/home/vhosts/5000149865/reiki-land.de/htdocs/ downloads')
WHERE `filepath` LIKE '%/www/htdocs/reikilan/joomla/download/downloads//%'

Now, the path is the same as in the Remository configuration. But it don't works. You can check it under http://www.reiki-land.de/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=41&func=fileinfo&id=54

Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

The only other problem I see is this:

Warning: getimagesize(/images/stories/reikiland/chakrenkreislauf150.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vhosts/5000149865/reiki-land.de/htdocs/components/com_remository/p-classes/ remositoryThumbnails.php on line 208
You can see it under http://www.reiki-land.de/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=41&func=fileinfo&id=54

Re:File Not Found - 2009/11/19 11:00 Didn't you say it worked before, and then you migrated the site?

If you have moved the site, the paths in the database tables may well be pointing to the wrong place.

You can fix this by following the advice at http://remository.com/faq/remository-general/migrating-remository/

Re:File Not Found - 2009/12/08 10:13 Thanks for your advice. I changed jos_downloads_containers and now Remo works.

The last problem is this one:
Warning: getimagesize(/images/stories/reikiland/schaltkreis150.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/vhosts/5000149865/reiki-land.de/htdocs/components/com_remository/p-classes/ remositoryThumbnails.php on line 208

You can see an exemple under http://www.reiki-land.de/download/praxis-infos/ - what can I do?

Re:File Not Found - 2009/12/17 21:57 It's unclear exactly what is happening. If you provide me with a temporary super admin login, I will take a look. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

I had the same problem.
It is quite annoying to have to correct the file urls manually.
What is the configuration setting of download paths for then?

If you stored only the filenames in jos_downloads_files and assembled the paths using the configuration setting, this step would not be necessary!

kind regards

Re:File Not Found - 2010/03/07 22:25 That is true, but it is also true that you would then be prevented from storing files outside the document root.

Remository supports repository files being located anywhere at all that can be described with an absolute path - and that would include things like NFS shares. Making the paths relative to the CMS installation would make all that impossible.
