Re:Definitionbot popup position - 2010/01/28 17:50 Hi,

I installed Glossary 2.64 yesterday together with the newest definitionbot plugin. It works fine but for the pop up position.

I tried to play around with the offsets. That seems to have no effect at all. The above/below values also do not seem to have effects.

If the term appears more to the right that 1/3 of the width of the main column, the pop up is fully or partially hidden or cut off by the right boundary of the main column in my Artisteer template.

If the term happens to appear further to the left in the main column, then the pop up appears in total, yet much too far away from the term (down and right). But even so, the pop up appears too far away from the term clicked to make any sense.

Furthermore, I would have expected the pop up to automatically align with column boundaries and never be obscured by them. Is that a new requirement ?

Would be happy to find any remedy. The remarks in this forum have not yet taken me any step forward.

Cheers Horst

Re:Definitionbot popup position - 2010/02/08 10:04 I found the remedy myself.
I used negative offsets for x and y. It works most of the time. I have not found a pattern yet to describe when does not work (Pop up is way off desired position).
So consider the problem closed.
