Re:Visitor download permission without login? - 2009/10/04 19:07 My God. Yes, you were right

I guessed that link was just for "extra info" and not for "download link"

Thanks a lot, people!! Nice component

Visitor download permission without login? - 2009/10/14 15:18 I am having the same problem es mentioned above. The configuration item (as far as I was able to translate into German) mentioned before ist set to yes (see attachment).

Still there is no way to get into the downloads. Klicking the menue link leading to remository always asks to login before.

Any idea?

Re:Visitor download permission without login? - 2009/10/14 20:35 If you are being asked to log in, that is more likely a Joomla issue with inconsistent values for Itemid. Check that all Remository links have the same value for Itemid. If not, look for multiple menu entries (including deleted ones). Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:Visitor download permission without login? - 2010/05/07 19:46 I have this problem with Quickdown plugin. When I click the download link, the login page appears. All the configuration is correctly set as this forum shows.

Thanks
Jaime

Re:Visitor download permission without login? - 2010/05/10 11:53 Check if there is an inconsistency with Itemid. If necessary, turn off SEF to do the tests. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:Visitor download permission without login? - 2010/05/10 14:53 Yes, I have turned SEF off and I realized that the menu item, given by ItemId, was set only for registered users. I changed it to be public and it worked.

Thanks
Jaime
