Search Repository Cant_Find_Underscore - 2005/11/14 21:37 Search Repository Cant_Find_Underscore

For some reason, when I installed my directory,
They would not import the files unless they had an underscore in the folder and file names.

Folder: ac_dc
File: back_in_black

So when a user does a search, they don't have a chance because they will look for

Black Sabbath
AC DC
back in lack

How can I get the search to pick up the various underscores as a space?

Thanks! I have 35,000 Links now and will be going live I hope soon..

Re:Search Repository Cant_Find_Underscore - 2005/11/15 01:04 Which add facility have you been using? I'm not aware that any of them alter the names of either files or containers. I tried a quick addition running under Windows, using the "Add structure" facility, and it added both files and containers that consisted of several separate words with spaces. Well, thanks, I'm off to batch edit 30,000 files.

(If any one wants a free app that frankly is better then the pay batch file editors)
