 remosef plugin - 2005/11/07 21:46 i downloaded the remosef plugin, and unzipped the two files in components/com_remository, but now the remository doesn't work .. it returns the following error: Your session was not validated and anti-leach measures are in effect... i'm using joomla 1.0.3 and 404sef pr-1.. anybody got a fix for that? tnx..

Re:remosef plugin - 2005/11/08 03:32 I don't know why you are getting that, but the setup will not work. The ReMOSef plugin will not work with 404SEF which does not provide a standard interface for a component's URLs. The installation of the plugin cannot be having any effect, since there is no mechanism that will cause it to operate. It is possible that 404SEF is interfering with the date needed by the download module, but I do not have much information on 404SEF.

If there are features of 404SEF that you like, then you will have to do without the benefits of ReMOSef. Otherwise, you will be better off with the full ReMOSef component. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

What URL is being created for the download that gives a problem?

well i can't.. but on line 212 of sef404.php there's a function sef_ext_exists() and it checks if sef_ext.php exists and if it exists, 404sef uses it ..

the url created is: http://www.domain.com/downloads/download/test.html, where test is the category name.. try to install 404sef and put sef_ext in remository folder to check it out for yourself, if you feel like it ...

well for now ReMOSef and mambelfish do not work.. the links in the mambelfish module both point to the same language and you can't change the language..
