No one need a Pay for Download feature? - 2008/09/02 16:27 I noticed that Remository lack the feature of Pay for Download feature.

Sometimes we may need to sell some software or e-book with Remository.

Someone had already requested such a feature on the forum, at:

But it seems no one responded.

Don't you think this is a good idea?

Re:No one need a Pay for Download feature? - 2008/09/04 12:22 I don't want to be unhelpful, but I've never found that approach to work. It's too complicated.

Also, I'd mention that people who leave posts here saying that they will contribute X if such and such a feature is added rarely actually make the contribution when the feature becomes available.

The work I do is really funded by a small number of good clients who pay professional rates for custom services. When a client wants payment services in Remository, it will get implemented.

It might get implemented sooner, but that depends on all the demands on my time! Sorry I can't do better than that Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Do you accept Dollars?

I really want to donate, because I always say Remository is the best Downloading management component for Joomla!.
