Re:Delete files from database - 2008/07/10 18:09 You can delete any file held by Remository through the admin interface - manage files. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:Delete files from database - 2008/07/14 11:49 From the administrator side of your site, you can find the Remository administration. You need to look at the management of containers and files. For each container listed, there is a note saying whether its files are in the database or the file system. You can flip between container listings and file listings, or go back via the Remository control panel. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:Delete files from database - 2010/01/03 01:29 This is a very old thread, but I figured for the heck of it I would add something in case anyone was looking for the information.

If, once you have documents loaded, you realize that they are stored in the database and not in the file structure (which is beneficial on many servers) and you have gone into config to set uploads to go to file structure here is what to do:

On each container...open it and add a direct path. When saved the path will change from the database to the file path. You do not have to make duplicate containers or do any real work at all.

When this change occurs it also automatically changes what is housed in the database. For example, mine decreased from 104MB to 1.8MB.
