Re:AEC 0.12.6.2 MI - 2010/06/04 10:04 So far as I know, the interface code that is provided in the "interfaces" directory of the package for Remository 3.53RC will work correctly. Martin Brampton aka Counterpoint

Re:AEC 0.12.6.2 MI - 2010/07/05 01:07 Now i updated remository to latest version..
I tired the new Remository MI but not work..
Now no errors are displayed, but nothing change into the account when i add a subscription.

The only thing working was the changing of the Remository Group.. that was done.
But no downloads are added to the user.

I want to make this with AEC.

Normal registered (as default) users can download max 1 file x day.

Subscribed users can download more files in a day depending on subsription plan.. for example 100.

So, now i can run a new container for Extra files, avaiable only for subscribed... When i do that, i will send feedback.

Re:AEC 0.12.6.2 MI - 2010/07/11 20:56 So far as I know, the integration with AEC relates to placing a TOTAL constraint on the number of downloads during the period a plan is active. Remository will allow downloads so long as the number remains positive, and will reduce it by one for each download. When the number is exhausted, Remository will refuse downloads.

This is not an integration with the number of downloads PER DAY.

Restricting numbers of downloads is difficult, because you need to take account of problems such as the fact that IE is inclined to download every file twice.

There is fuller logic within Remository for managing the sale of individual files, where the user is permitted to download a purchased file as often as they like for a limited period after the purchase. To adopt this approach with AEC would require a more complex integration.
