Remository does a calculation to decide if there is space for uploads. It works out the total size of the current repository. Then it takes the maximum size specified in the Remository configuration, and subtracts the space already used. The test applied is whether the amount left is greater than the MAXIMUM upload size in the Remository configuration. It is done this way because Remository does not know what the size of an upload will be until after it has been sent to the server. So if you have a large setting for maximum file size, it may result in your space being reported as all used up sooner than you think!

If you have a problem with Remository refusing to allow uploads, please check the configuration and make sure the maximum total size is a good deal larger than the maximum for each file.
