Glossary Definitions Plugin Download

Description:

This plugin works with the Glossary component. It processes "content" for a site, marking any occurrences of terms in the glossary. Each term is given a popup that shows the definition. Many aspects of the operation of the plugin can be varied by altering its parameters.

Now updated to support Markdown styling, and to preserve the original format, so that the term is shown as it was in the content, rather than converted to the format of the term in the glossary.

A further refinement is that the plugin now processes the term so as to be able to match characters such as brackets, which previously upset the scanning technique. So for example a term Civil Code900(a) will now be matched correctly, provided it appears in content in the exact form, i.e. with the same spacing.

Modified 17 March 2009 to handle terms that contain a slash. Modified 19 March to ensure character set is determined. Bug fix release 23 June 2009. Modified 6 September to make the regular expression terminator configurable in the plugin parameters, also fix for inexact match losing the term.

Dariyush 2009-10-11 21:57:47 thanks i think there is a bug for Persian or Arabic letters: it cant recognized "zero width non-joiner charachter" the "find exact word" option does not work properly in my site http://www.paarsimaan.com
